Blue Jay Snack: A study of shadows through a tree frog

The best part of art is when you are done with a study you still have something beautiful. Instead of a pile of notes at the end of study session, I have a painting of a tree frog. The title of the painting is due to the pigeons in my neighborhood. These birds are regularly eaten by the hawks, so I have taken to calling them “hawk snacks.” I wanted my tree frog to have enough detail to fool a blue jay, so I decided to call it Blue Jay snack.
